Wallpaper Formats & Materials
At Liv Art & Wallpapers, we want to make it simple for you to find the perfect solution for your walls. We currently offer two main formats of wallpaper and two material options for our custom murals. Below you will find a clear overview to help you choose the right type for your space.
Formats
Fixed-Size Rolls
Size: 0.5 m wide × 10 m long
Perfect for: repeating pattern designs
Material: Traditional Wallpaper (paste-the-wall) — no self-adhesive option available
Best choice if you want a consistent pattern that can extend seamlessly across larger areas
Custom-Sized Murals
Made to measure: you provide your wall dimensions, and we adapt the artwork to fit perfectly
Delivered in strips of 0.45 m width, numbered for easy installation
Creates one seamless, unique mural across your wall
Materials: Traditional Wallpaper (paste-the-wall) or Peel & Stick (self-adhesive)
If you are considering choosing the Peel & Stick option, please read the details below carefully to make sure this is the right choice for your wall and space.
Materials
Traditional Wallpaper (Paste-the-Wall)
Non-woven wallpaper without adhesive
You apply paste directly to the wall.
Strong, durable, premium finish
Suitable for almost any wall type (as long as the wall is smooth, primed, and in good condition)
The best option for long-lasting results
For detailed information and installation guidelines, please see our Installation Guides or FAQ page.
Peel & Stick (Self-Adhesive)
Our Peel & Stick wallpaper is a convenient, adhesive-backed option designed for easy application and removal. It has the same premium finish as our traditional wallpaper but comes with adhesive already applied.
Recommended uses :
Accent walls (behind a bed, sofa, or dining table)
Rental properties (removes cleanly without damaging walls, as long as the wall is in good condition)
Small spaces like closets, laundry rooms, or entryways
Temporary backdrops for photos, videos, or events
Furniture and DIY projects (lining shelves, decorating cabinets, etc.)
Not recommended for :
Textured or uneven walls, or any surface that is not smooth and stable (e.g., plaster, brick, “orange peel,” untreated plasterboard)
Walls that are not properly prepared: surfaces must be cleaned and dried before application, and painted walls must cure for 4–6 weeks before wallpapering
High heat areas (behind stoves, near radiators, around fireplaces)
High moisture areas (bathrooms with showers, saunas)
Fresh, unprimed drywall or walls with peeling paint
Removability :
Removes easily without residue or damage, as long as applied to a sound surface
Perfect for temporary or rental spaces
Important to know :
Peel & Stick is available only for custom-sized murals, not for fixed-size rolls
Samples are not available in Peel & Stick, but the traditional non-woven wallpaper has the same look and feel
Returns are not possible for custom-made wallpapers. Incorrect application or installation issues are not covered
How to Choose
If you want a long-term, universal solution, go for Traditional Wallpaper.
If you want a temporary, flexible option and your walls are smooth and in good condition, Peel & Stick could be perfect for you.
For detailed guidelines on how to install both Traditional Wallpaper and Peel & Stick Wallpaper, please see our Installation Guides.
