Here’s the full process, with all the details you’ll need to know before and after placing your order:

1. Purchase Your Custom-Sized Mural & Complete Your Order

• Measure your wall to determine how many square meters (m²) you’ll need. Add 10 cm extra to both width and height to allow for adjustments. If you need help measuring your wall, you can access our Wall Measuring Guide.

• Use the calculator below on this page to calculate the total square meters needed.

• Select your preferred material: Traditional Wallpaper or Peel & Stick.

• Enter the number of square meters in the Quantity box above. Use whole numbers only, the calculator already rounds it for you. Complete your order.

• During checkout, fill in your wall dimensions in the form provided.

2. Receive Confirmation Emails

• After ordering, you’ll receive two emails:

  • An order confirmation email with your order number.

  • A second email with the next steps, including instructions on how to send us your child’s artwork.

3. Send Us Their Artwork

• Fill out the form included in the second email with your personal information, order number, and any comments regarding the artwork.

• Attach scanned files of your child’s drawings, maximum of 3, within 3 working days.

• Files must be in JPG format, 300 dpi resolution, scanned with a good-quality scanner. Phone photos are not suitable.

• If you want to combine different drawings, please scan and send each one separately.

4. Creation of the Wallpaper Art

• Once we receive the artwork, our design team will adapt it into a seamless wallpaper pattern, making small adjustments to size or color as needed.

• We can combine up to three drawings into one composition, but we cannot create entirely new or complex artworks.

• This creation process usually takes about 5 working days.

• If it’s not possible to adapt the drawing you sent, we’ll inform you and either refund your order or allow you to submit a new drawing.

5. Approval of Final Design

• We’ll send you the finalized wallpaper design for your review.

• One round of adjustments is included, based on your feedback.

• Please allow 3 to 5 working days for this adjustment process, depending on the changes requested.

6. Production & Delivery

• After your approval, we move your order into production.

• The full process, from receiving your child’s drawing to having the mural ready for shipping, usually takes around 3.5 to 4 weeks.

Every wallpaper in the Little Artists Collection is an exclusive design made just for you.
Your child’s artwork will never be resold or reproduced by us.

• Artwork Submission: Please send high-quality scans of your child's drawings in JPG format, at 300 dpi. Avoid phone pictures, as they can reduce the quality.

• Drawing Limit: We can combine a maximum of three drawings into one wallpaper design.

• Custom-Sized Murals: All Little Artists wallpapers are produced as custom-sized murals. The artwork is printed as a continuous repeating pattern and delivered in multiple wallpaper strips, carefully sized to fit your wall’s dimensions. When installed correctly, the strips align seamlessly, creating a continuous and harmonious design across the wall.

• Refund Policy: If we determine that your original drawing cannot be adapted for wallpaper, or if there are issues with the scan quality, we will inform you and can arrange for a refund or a resubmission of artwork.

• Return Policy: Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on Little Artists rolls unless there is a manufacturing issue.  If you encounter any problems, please contact us at hello@livartwallpapers.com.

Our wallpapers are available in two materials:

• Traditional Wallpaper (paste-the-wall): Non-woven wallpaper where you simply roll paste onto the wall and then apply the strips. It is durable, premium, and works well on most wall types.

• Peel & Stick (self-adhesive): Comes with adhesive already on the back, designed for smooth and stable surfaces. A good option for rentals or temporary projects, but not suitable for textured, high-moisture, or high-heat areas.

Once you have the square meters calculated, add that number to the quantity menu to complete your order. Remember, you can only order whole numbers of square meters, not fractions or decimals like 4.2 m². The calculator will provide you with a rounded number to make this process easier!

1. Measure the Full Wall Dimensions

   • Measure the total width and height of all the walls you want to cover. If the mural will span more than one wall, sum the widths of each wall. Ensure you capture the highest point if there are any variations in height across the walls.

2. Add Flexibility

   • Add 10 cm (approximately 4 inches) to both the width and height measurements. This extra margin accounts for any irregularities in the wall during installation.

3. Record Your Measurements

   • Write down your measurements clearly, as these will dictate the size of your custom mural. Ensure to double-check your numbers to avoid any errors.

4. Use Our m² Calculator

   • To find out how many square meters you need to purchase, please utilize the calculator available on the product page. The calculator will round the total number of square meters up or down, but don’t worry—we will produce your custom mural with the exact dimensions you provide.

5. Provide Exact Dimensions at Checkout

   • When checking out, you will receive a form where you should write the exact dimensions of your wall, including the additional 10 cm already added to both the width and height. We will produce your custom mural based on these exact measurements.

To care for your wallpaper, gently wipe with a soft cloth that is only slightly damp. Avoid using too much water or applying it directly to the wallpaper surface, as this may cause damage. Never use harsh cleaning agents or chemicals, since they can affect the finish.

Our wallpapers are produced in Sweden with the highest standards of quality and sustainability. They are made from 150 g non-woven material, FSC® certified, and completely free from PVC, solvents, and harmful plasticizers. The entire production chain is non-toxic and VOC-free.

Each wallpaper is finished with a water-based protective coating, giving the surface extra durability and washability while preserving its matte, premium look. The wallpapers also have excellent lightfastness (Blue Wool scale 6–8), ensuring colors remain vibrant for decades under normal conditions.

Both of our materials — Traditional Wallpaper (paste-the-wall) and Peel & Stick (self-adhesive) — share the same feel, finish, and care requirements. The difference lies only in the installation method.

Certified to EN 15102 and with a European fire classification of B-s1,d0 (EN 13501-1), as well as Class A (ASTM-E84, U.S.), our wallpapers meet international safety standards. Production is carried out with low energy consumption using renewable energy sources.
