Our creations begin as unique manual designs, thoughtfully crafted by hand in the Netherlands and Portugal.
Once the designs are complete, we utilize high-fidelity scanners to capture every exquisite detail, ensuring that the essence of the artwork is preserved in the final product. Meet our founders
Isabel and Gabriela, both born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, share a deep passion for nature, art, and the philosophy of slow living. Having previously partnered in a fashion brand and design studio in their hometown, they’ve now joined forces again—this time from opposite sides of the Atlantic—to launch Liv Art & Wallpapers.
With their combined years of experience in the art and design field, they are dedicated to creating beautiful wallpapers that bring joy and warmth to homes everywhere, enriching the lives of families just like theirs.
Isabel moved to Amsterdam with her husband, where they welcomed their small daughter, Liv—and are now expecting another baby girl to add even more love to their growing family. A true nature lover, she’s all about simplifying life so she can soak up more of those everyday moments that really matter. Whether it’s a stroll in the park or getting lost in a creative project, Isabel strives to bring more presence, joy and magic into the everyday simple moments. As an artist and designer, she often finds inspiration in these quiet pauses—in nature, in day-to-day beauty with her family, and in the little things that spark creativity.
Gabriela lives in the sunny town of Cascais, Portugal, where she shares a cozy, joy-filled life with her husband, their 5-year-old son, Tom, and their beloved collie, Valentina. Surrounded by the sea, hills, and charming streets, she finds beauty in the everyday and brings that spirit into everything she does.
As a professional watercolorist, she seeks out beautiful color palettes in every outdoor adventure with her family, infusing her artistic vision with the vibrancy of life around her. Whether it’s the colors of a sunset, the texture of a leaf, or the quiet charm of a seaside morning, Gabriela translates these moments into delicate, expressive artworks. Her creative process is grounded in feeling and observation—an ongoing dialogue between nature, family, and imagination.
